GREAT NEWS: We've just added a DANCE FLOOR!

Girlfriend In A Coma is a celebration of the art created by Morrissey and The Smiths. Following over two decades since The Smiths breakup, this band creates an authentic experience for the fans that once witnessed the brilliance of The Smiths and the fans that have been denied that opportunity. To continue paying homage to The Smiths’ front man, Girlfriend In A Coma also performs selections from Morrissey’s solo career that followed The Smiths’ demise.

Molly O'Donnell writing for Metromix Baltimore wrote “if you close your eyes you'd think this band was The Smiths.”

Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Girlfriend In A Coma features Christopher Quinn as Morrissey. Quinn has been an adoring fan of “Moz” for many years, has seen his idol countless times in America and abroad. Although he was born in Maryland, many swear Quinn is British. The Johnny Marr guitar wizardry is mastered by Glenn Riley. Glenn is an instructor locally at Music & Arts and also globally for National Guitar Association. Glenn has authored several guitar instruction books for Alfred Publishing and also performs in The Reagan Years 80’s tribute band with drummer, Sy Seyler. Bassist, Bryan Kimes, has performed with Mid-Atlantic rock acts for years – most notably 23 Rainy Days, a top 3 finalist in M-TV’s 2009 “VMA Breakout Artist Award”.
