Michael Franti

Michael Franti is a globally recognized musician, activist, and award-winning filmmaker celebrated for his high-energy live shows, inspiring music, worldwide philanthropic efforts, and unshakable optimism. Over his multi-decade career, Franti has earned three Billboard No. 1 hits with the uplifting anthems “Sound of Sunshine,” “Say Hey (I Love You),” and “I Got You,” along with six Top 30 Hot AC singles, 10 Top 25 AAA singles, and three Billboard Top 5 Rock Albums. His 13th studio album, Big Big Love, released in November 2023, debuted in the Top 5 on the iTunes Pop Chart behind Taylor Swift. Praised by American Songwriter as “an energizing batch of songs that spotlight the common threads that connect us,” the album features 17 tracks co-written by Franti, showcasing his signature tenacity, inclusiveness, and optimism.

Toward the end of 2024 and start of ‘25, Michael Franti & Spearhead concluded their worldwide Togetherness Tour, performing in over 90 markets, including iconic venues like Red Rocks, The Greek Theatre, and Pier 17, along with limited runs in the UK, Europe, and Australia. The tour featured a diverse lineup of special guests, including Stephen Marley, Trevor Hall, Niko Moon, Citizen Cope, Trombone Shorty, and more.

Now, Franti is set to embark on a spring tour across the US, kicking off May 22 with a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He is also preparing to release new music later next month, continuing his legacy of creating songs that uplift, connect, and inspire audiences around the world.

When not on tour, the Bay Area native resides in Bali, where he co-owns Soulshine Bali Resort and Retreat, a 40-room five-star boutique hotel nestled among 700-year-old rice fields in Ubud. A playground for the soul, the resort draws international wellness teachers and retreat leaders from around the world, offering guests the chance to book personal retreats, immersive wellness experiences, accommodations, and special events. Michael and his wife Sara also host their own signature Soulrocker Retreats. A week of live music, soul circles, yoga, and Balinese adventure designed to leave guests more connected and more alive.

Franti also fosters community offstage through his wish-granting nonprofit, Do It For The Love, which he co-founded with his wife Sara Agah Franti, a former ER nurse whose background in healing is woven into the heart of the organization's mission of creating hope and healing through live music. Do It For The Love brings individuals with life-threatening illnesses, veterans, and children with severe challenges to concerts around the world. To date, the organization has fulfilled over 3,500 wishes and touched the lives of more than 15,000 people, continuing to inspire hope and connection worldwide.

Wheeland Brothers

Blending SoCal surf rock, reggae, and acoustic pop, the Wheeland Brothers are kicking off a major new chapter with the release of their latest single, “Sidelines.” The track launches an ambitious rollout that will see the band release new music approximately every six weeks over the next 18 months—delivering the steady stream of songs fans have long been waiting for. Fresh off touring in support of Niko Moon on his American Palm Tour, the band has continued to build momentum on the live circuit with appearances at Tortuga Music Festival, Reggae Rise Up Florida, and Barefoot Country Music Fest. They are also set to perform on the Sublime Cruise 2026 and will headline their own Summer 2026 tour, bringing their feel-good, beach-driven sound to coastal stages across the country.
