After growing up in Tennessee and Florida, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Briston Maroney has established himself as one of indie rock’s most compelling voices. In 2018, Maroney released his debut EP Carnival, featuring the RIAA Platinum-certified single “Freakin’ Out On The Interstate.” His sophomore album, Ultrapure (2023), produced by GRAMMY® winner Daniel Tashian, showcased his raw and earnest exploration of human emotion.
Following Ultrapure, Maroney embarked on an extensive world tour, selling out headline shows across North America and Europe while appearing at festivals including Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and All Things Go. In May 2025, he released his acclaimed third studio album, Jimmy, before hitting the road on the expansive Long Hair, Long Life co-headline tour with Peach Pit, his biggest run of shows to date. In 2026, Maroney teamed up with flipturn for a collaborative covers project, further showcasing his versatility as an artist. With new music on the horizon, Briston continues to evolve while building a passionate global fanbase and cementing his place as one of indie music’s most exciting artists.
