Band Of A Thousand Names

Band of a Thousand Names was “the” live band in Annapolis in the '80s. The sound and songs were based around Russell Stone’s songwriting, Paul Reed Smith and Russell's guitar duo and the showmanship and singing of bass player Carey Ziegler from Crack the Sky. The band enjoyed the playing of several talented drummers which concluded with Greg Phillips. The band's run was between 1981 and 1988 playing to packed houses constantly.

Recently reunited at the Annapolis musician John Van Dyke's celebration of life event, the band has decided to play again! On Saturday October 11 at the Rams Head on Stage, come out to hear and enjoy the full old setlist of original and classic covers! A good time and heartfelt memories is guaranteed for all!
