DOUG STONE is a celebrated American country music artist who rose to fame in the early 1990s with his smooth baritone voice and heartfelt ballads. Born on June 19, 1956, in Newnan, Georgia, Stone began performing at a young age and signed his first record deal in 1990. His debut single, I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box), became a Top 10 hit, setting the stage for a successful career.
Stone went on to produce several No. 1 hits, including A Jukebox with a Country Song, In a Different Light, and Too Busy Being in Love. Known for his emotionally charged songs about love and heartache, his music resonates with fans of classic country. TERRY McBRIDE is a versatile country music artist, songwriter, and front-man of the band McBride & the Ride, which gained popularity in the early 1990s. Born in Texas, McBride initially found success as a bass player for several country acts before forming McBride & the Ride in 1989. The group became known for hits like Sacred Ground and Love on the Loose, Heart on the Run, earning them a series of Top 10 singles and a loyal fanbase.
After the band's initial run, McBride transitioned into a prolific songwriting career, penning hits for artists like Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, and George Strait. His songwriting prowess has made him one of Nashville’s most respected contributors, with over a dozen chart-topping songs. McBride continues to write, record, and tour, blending his traditional country roots with modern influences.
